DDI-12

I know...not my personal review but I wanted to comment on this. I think they did a great job, no I'm not trying to tear down their work. I want to say a few words about this shotgun. I think the obvious one here is a Saiga type 12ga around the $600 mark....SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY. Then you realize that all the normal conversions that would have to take place to get a Saiga to the same place the DDI-12 is...only $600 starts to look much more attractive. Well, I started doing a little Youtube research because of some comments on The Firearm Blog’s post. There were a few guys going nuts about how much better the VEPR12 was. So I decided to compare the two. I ended up liking attributes of both. Okay...not having to rock the mags in...point for team VEPR. AR style safety...big win for DDI. Bolt release inside the trigger guard...score goes to VEPR. Left side charging handle...have to give that one to DDI. When you look at the fact that the VEPR is only $200 more than you run into a little bit of a dilemma. It all comes down to the features you prefer. As for reliability...I can’t find anything other than the malfunctions witnessed in the DDI-12 review. If anyone of you have one or have more information please leave a comment.
