Veridian Issue

I started out my Monday as most do, a quick look at what has to be done for the day and hope to reach the end of it. This week I had just received the trigger kit for a Ruger LC9. Not a bad gun, the trigger kit I got from Galloway Precision but that's another review. I called the customer really quick as I did remember having a conversation with them about the Veridian Laser on the gun. She had asked me to take a look at it. She stated that the laser was going through batteries a little too fast. She was literally replacing them every other week. I put a set of batteries in it and turned it on. Then turned it off and let it sit while I did the trigger work. The next morning I went to turn on the laser and nothing. So I called Veridian. In my book customer service is what makes or breaks a company. Veridian did not answer the phone. After about 5 min of hold and "please wait" comments It directed me to message box. Ok, first time they are just a little busy. I left a message and waited a few hours and tried again. I left another message. Wait and try again. No answer again. I tried the next day. Same thing. Several times. I emailed the company hoping there would be a better response that way. No such luck, as of Friday I have had no response from them. Now I have used and installed several of their lasers on several models. I do like the fact that they are easy to install. The battery compartment is easy to get too however you do have to remove the whole unit if you are dealing with a model that mounts around the trigger guard. This is not good if the batteries don't last. The green Laser is quite visible in all lighting situations which make it excellent for training purposes. The adjustments are large and adjust easily. All in all the product has not shown me anything that would make me question it. Till now. I hope in the next week I will be able to speak to someone and find a solution to the product for my customer.

There you have it straight from the gunsmith's mouth
