A Thought On Gun Control

To remove weapons from a culture is to effectively rip out a piece of the soul of men. At heart we are all still barbaric heathens setting out to conquer whatever our passion is. We may not be pillaging and burning villages but we certainly attack our careers with all the vigor of battle. We set out to make a name for ourselves with other weapons...pens, computers, tools, and yes sometimes firearms. Anyone who doesn't do so we see as bringing shame on themselves and their posterity (in a manner of speaking). So you can never really remove the desire for the hunt. The call to battle. The drive to conquer. It is a far stronger man to cast off the metrosexual nonsense and “pick up your swords” and act as men. Accept the fact that weapons, in some form, will always be part of the human existence and instead seek to master what is broken in the hearts of men that cause them to do acts of evil.
